San Angelo Chamber Night with the Symphony!
On February 1, 2014, the San Angelo Symphony will present Symphony of a City featuring the 2012 Sorantin Competition Strings winner, Russell Houston. During the evening the Symphony will pay tribute to our city’s heritage while experiencing the music of America’s greatest components. The pageantry of old Fort Concho will be showcased as well as a multi-media presentation during the concert that depicts the storyline of our great city’s history. This concert will be one that our community is sure to be proud of and we are thrilled to partner with the Chamber of Commerce as we host the first ever San Angelo Chamber Night with the Symphony!
To thank our local businesses that support our great city through their membership with the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce and to encourage business owners to support their local orchestra, the Symphony will offer a ticket price of $10 for any current San Angelo Chamber of Commerce member to attend Symphony of a City on the evening of February 1, 2014.
The San Angelo Symphony relies on the generous support of individuals and businesses in our area. Equally important are our partnerships with area organizations. The Chamber’s support of our organization strengthens our ability to sustain a cultural treasure in the Concho Valley and provide for the growth of the performing arts and music education in our community. We ask that members of the Chamber of Commerce partner with us in San Angelo Chamber Night with the Symphony and invest in the important role of music and music education in San Angelo.
