On Saturday, July 3rd, those gathering in downtown San Angelo will hear the strains of patriotic music played by the San Angelo Symphony floating through the night air while fireworks explode brilliantly in the darkened sky. July 3rd has been the traditional date for the San Angelo Symphony July 3rd Pops. The concert will include a march-in by those in the military stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, the cannon from historic Fort Concho in addition to the performance by the Symphony and dazzling fireworks display. In its 24th year, the concert proves to be an exciting event with something for everyone. The San Angelo Symphony is pleased to present this patriotic gift to the community and warmly welcomes the 30,000+ attendees.

10 A.M. TO 2 P.M. SATURDAY IF YOU WOULD
LIKE TO PURCHASE RESERVED SEATING.
Reserved Seating
There are a limited number of reserved seats on sale now at the Symphony office for $16.00 each. Reserved seats are great because you are guaranteed a seat no matter what time you arrive and the seats are located directly in front of the RiverStage for a perfect view of the night's festivities. You will need to go to the Symphony office to purchase your tickets. The Symphony office is located in the Cactus Hotel at the corner of Twohig and Oakes Street on the Mezzanine level. Their office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Their phone number is 325-658-5877.
Free Seating
The three (3) main gates to the RiverStage open at 12 noon on Saturday, July 3rd. Blankets, coolers and folding chairs may be used to reserve free spaces. For Your Safety. Elevated in-ground stakes and rocks used for landscaping will NOT be allowed for reserving viewing spaces on the grounds of the RiverStage. The Symphony Belles will be selling small sandbags at 4 for $1.00 to help secure blankets beginning at 12 noon on July 3rd. Please empty the sandbags out on the grass after the concert and dispose of the plastic bags in a trash container.
Street Closures
In order to allow for the preparation of the Fireworks Display, the Oakes Street Bridge will be closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic at 9 a.m. The walking paths around the Oakes Bridge as well as Celebration Bridge will be closing at 9 a.m. also. The northbound lane of Chadbourne Street Bridge will be closed at 7 p.m.
Free Shuttle
For the convenience of those attending the concert, there will be FREE shuttle bus service from the Shannon Clinic parking lot (corner of Beauregard and Oakes), the Shannon Employee Parking Lot (Twohig Street entrance) and the Shannon Employee Parking Lot (southwest corner of Magdalen and Beauregard) to the RiverStage area. The shuttle will begin operation at 6 p.m. Passengers will be dropped off at the Paseo Windmill, just south of the RiverStage. Following the concert, the shuttle buses will load passengers at the Windmill for transportation back to the designated Shannon parking lots. Please Note: The shuttle WILL NOT run from the Cactus Hotel, Central High School or the Convention Center this year.
Community Band
Make sure you're in your spot in time to hear the San Angelo Community Band as they open the evening's celebration at 7 p.m. Now in its 22nd year, the Community Band is under the direction of Dr. David Scott, head of the Department of Art and Music at Angelo State University.
The symphony concert will begin at 8:30 when you hear the cannon test shot. The concert will end at approximately 10:15 p.m.

The concert will be simulcast on KCSA 95.7FM and KWFR 101.9 FM
Other Questions
•1. Is the Symphony holding its annual fundraising dinner at the Cactus Hotel before the concert again this year? Not this year.
•2. Are vendors permitted inside the RiverStage area? This year the approved vendors include Chick-Fil-A and Steak Express. They will be located across from the main gate to the RiverStage, next to the museum. In addition, the city concession stand will be open.
•3. Can I bring my own beer or wine to the RiverStage Park? Yes as long as it is not in a glass container and you are legally allowed to consume it.
•4. What if I have an emergency situation that arises such as a medical emergency or lost child? Various San Angelo Police and Tom Green County Sheriff Officers are stationed in the RiverStage Park and surrounding area for your protection. In an emergency, please notify the nearest officer of your situation.
